      Digital Signature Certificates are secure digital keys issued by certifying authorities to authenticate and confirm the identity of the individual holding them. Using public-key encryption, digital signatures are created.

      In a digital signature certificate (DSC), the user's name, pin code, country, email address, date of issuance, and certifying authority's name are included.

          Process - Application for a Digital Signature Certificate Online

            Step 1: Form Submission

            Name, gender, address, nationality, country, e-mail ID, mobile number, and usage type of DSC will be collected. This could be for company incorporation, MCA e-filing, IT filing, GST filing, foreign trade, e-tenders, or personal use. Choosing the right class and submitting the form will also be guided by us.

            The document will be validated in two ways after payment has been made, and the information has been verified against your PAN card as in the income tax portal

            Video recording: You will receive a video link to your registered mobile number and email address, where you will record your name, DOB, etc. and send it to us

            SMS: The DSC application ID and a mobile number will be sent to you via SMS, and you must reply with your DSC application ID, name, mobile number, and e-mail ID.

          Classes of DSC

          A DSC must be obtained based on the request's nature and purpose and the applicant's type. Certificates issued by certifying authorities come in three types.

          • Class 1 Certificates: These are issued to individual/private subscribers and verify that the subscriber's name and email address are in the database of the certifying authority.
          • Class 2 Certificates: These are issued to directors/signatory authorities of companies for e-filing with the Registrar of Companies (ROC). Filing returns with the ROC requires a Class 2 certificate.
          • Class 3 Certificates: Online participation/bidding in e-auctions and online tenders in India is possible. Participants in the online tenders must have a Class 3 digital signature certificate.
